Grant is widely recognised as a global leader in the development of the modern professional security and risk management sector, as well as being a globally networked thought leader and agenda setter.

He is the co-founder of the Security Partners' Forum (SPF), a global agile network of numerous participating security-related associations, educators and other seasoned professionals who have come together to promote open communication and dialogue across all security and related domains. He also heads the International Judging Panel for IFSEC Global's "Top Influencers in Fire & Security", is a Member of the World Economic Forum Expert Network (Risk and Resilience) and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business Continuity & Emergency Planning, & Cyber Security.
