International Security Manager

The International Security Manager is responsible for the Wells Fargo Corporate Security program that reports to the Corporate Properties Group.

The Corporate Security program would provide oversight and further implementation in the APAC, EMEA, LATAM and Canadian regions where Wells Fargo has business entities.

The position is responsible for building and maintaining a diverse, talented, educated, and risk management focused team who are responsible for developing and providing products and services that strive to mitigate risk and loss, comply with applicable regulations and Wells Fargo policies and procedures. The position will promote a safe, secure, and ethical business environment for all team members and customers. The position is responsible to ensure appropriate enterprise level physical security risk management and compliance, which includes risk mitigation strategies, incident response, and investigations. The position serves as a corporate security senior management liaison to line of business management, senior law enforcement and government officials, and private sector counterparts. The position has the responsibility to be the subject matter expert on international region and country level risk of civil unrest, terrorism, and crime. The position is accountable for strategic planning, business objective development and execution, and management of all assigned security functions. The position develops and implements physical security policies procedures, standards, and training. The position leads complex security or investigative projects and program improvement initiatives across country and geographies. The position will be required to routinely communicate security trends, strategies, and incident data to senior management and make formal presentations to support business objectives. The position will serve on senior level company committees and industry peer working groups. The position is required to maintain a high degree of expertise and knowledge specific to physical security, applicable laws, regulatory trends, industry benchmarking, emerging issues, and internal guidelines and policies, services, and business processes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in corporate security, management, and corporate leadership
• Demonstrated physical security program development and implementation
• Demonstrated familiarity with the physical security industry processes, policies, and standards
• Subject matter expert on international risk, country level risk, international and country specific risk mitigation strategies
• Strong violence free workplace program development skills, workplace threat assessment skills and threat mitigation strategy development
• Demonstrated knowledge of physical security technology related to access control, video, and alarm systems
• Strong understanding of the Bank Protection Act and security processes and procedures
• Superior writing skills with knowledge and understanding of policy and procedure writing style
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); proven ability to interact with and effectively support a wide range of consumers, up to and including senior leaders
• Proven ability to work independently with little to no direction; ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, to assess and meet deadlines, and to collaborate with partners
• Creative thinker, capable of solving problems in an efficient and timely manner
• Proven ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a high-pressure time sensitive environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Acrobat
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Security Management, Criminology or related field;
• Certification-CPP or PSP (or equivalent)
