Nuha Eltinay is an award-winning spatial planner and a Licentiate Member of the British Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), holder of MA in International Planning from University of Westminster, and current PhD Researcher at London South Bank University (LSBU). With strong governance experience in building Urban Resilience for Smart Cities infrastructure, smart citizenry and smart governance, Nuha was appointed in 2014 as the director of Urban Planning and Sustainable Development at the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI), Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Nuha has been highly active in promoting activities at the regional, national and local levels around the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 and 2005-2015 Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) - Making Cities Resilient projects, and has taken a leadership role in the facilitation and organisation of the Women Entrepreneurship Resilient start-up competition in collaboration with the World Bank Group -Centre of Mediterranean Integration (CMI) at the Third UN (WCDRR) Sendai, Japan 2015, aimed at encouraging innovative female-run business solutions to risk in the MENA Region.
