National Security Manager - North

Our Head of Central Services is looking for a dynamic and inspiring National Security Manager North to join his highly skilled team. In this role you will be covering from the Midlands up to Scotland. Your key objectives will include:

• To lead and inspire the National Security Team North to exceed the expectations of both our internal and external customers. Develop clearly defined objectives and performance.
• To continually drive and focus on loss prevention and the reduction of customers paid claims/losses.
• To develop an expert & dedicated team in the field of Security with clear focus on customer service, satisfaction and support.
• To ensure security services support are available to all business units and to have a structured team with clear lines of responsibility and accountability. Focus on leadership and development

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Responsibility for the National Security Team North
• Responsibility for the security strategy and infrastructure of the National Security Team North
• Ensuring there is the right level of resourcing, succession plans, training and recognition systems in place to ensure there are no dependencies on individuals and work demands can be reasonably met.
• Budget planning for the team.
• Providing support and advice to the National Security Manager of security and their teams.
• Ensure a methodology is deployed for measuring the success of the teams and individuals performance - Productivity, Quality & Commitments.
• Selecting the right tools needed for the team to achieve their objectives in the fastest way possible

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have extensive and demonstrable experience as a National Security Manager with a large scale, geographically dispersed multi-layered organisation. You will also be able to evidence successfully leading and inspiring your teams to deliver exceptional results.

• You will be a confident communicator/presenter with the skills to lead and manage teams as well as influence strategy and liaise with our Directors
• A person capable of decisive and effective decision-making, in a time pressured environment
• A passion for building and motivating high-performing teams
