Protecting property and people is a priority for Dell. Corporate Security keeps employees and visitors safe and guards against all kinds of threats. The team protects Dell from theft, vandalism, fire, damage and illegal entry. It’s about the big picture – shaping policies to ensure the physical safety of valuable property and assets, advising departments on security regulations and procedures and working with external law enforcement agencies. But just as important are the smaller details – touring buildings and grounds to examine points of entry and validating the identity of everyone who comes on site.

This position will be primarily responsible for all Dell Technologies locations in Malaysia and Singapore.

Job responsibilities:
• Develops and conducts security education briefings and classes
• Provides security support and services to Public Business in relation to NISP or equivalent requirements
• Acts as a Liaison between the company and the Government customer for all Security compliance matters
• May be responsible for pre and post executive trip preparation and debriefing
• May provide ongoing executive surveillance and counter surveillance
• May coordinate domestic travel for assigned executive protectee
• Works on projects with guidance as needed from senior executive security
• Monitors alarms, cameras and other security-related equipment
• Makes periodic tours of buildings & grounds, examining access points to ensure properly secured
• Interacts and works with contract personnel who enter designated property
• Conducts routine advance work
• Reviews and investigates loss control and incident reports
• Directs third-party vendors providing security personnel
• Interacts with local, state and/or federal law enforcement agencies
• Acts as a liaison with members of leadership on security issues
• Manages security concerns for a limited number of facilities
• Manages budget for their given location
• Advises team members on travel related concerns
• Assist in investigations and enterprise resiliency in collaboration with function leads in SRO

Requirements

Job requirements:
• Strong knowledge of security and the ability to identify and evaluate policies and procedures to compliment the business objectives while protecting company personnel and assets
• Maintains appropriate firearms and First Responder certifications if required
• Working knowledge of industrial security programs and the ability to identify and evaluate policies and procedures to compliment the business objectives while protecting company personnel and assets
• Typically requires 7+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma or equivalent experience in logistic, physical & corporate security.
• Strong in Physical security domain or in logistics security domain.
• Preferred candidates from Armed Forces or Police background.
