Senior Manager Global Security - EMEA

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Security, this position ensures the provision and co-ordination of services, measures and initiatives necessary to protect employees, physical assets and brands of Newell Brands in EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa region) against loss, damage or harm caused by any incident as defined in the company’s Incident Management Manual including criminal or unlawful activity.

Requirements

Major Responsibilities And Duties:
• Ensure that appropriate and reasonable security measures are implemented and maintained throughout the different businesses company facilities throughout EMEA.
• Audit and review physical security measures at all locations in the region and provide recommendations to address any vulnerabilities identified.
• In alignment with established Global Security standards, provide guidance for the deployment of security technology systems and devices in the region.
• In collaboration with relevant integrators and company stakeholders, oversee all regional security systems projects in the region, from the scope and design phase all the way through implementation.
• Administer and manage the corporate access control, CCTV, and visitor management software and platforms for all sites within the region.
• Assist regional locations with the implementation, development, maintenance and testing of Business Continuity Plans in the region.
• Assist the company in the management of threats and incidents against the company, its employees and or brands.
• Coordinate and perform security awareness training sessions for employees throughout the region, tailored to location risks in topics that include but not limited to; personal security, incident management, travel security, and active assailants.
• Support and provide guidance to facilities in the region with the management of guard services as well as other contracted security firms and/or services.
• As needed and/or required, coordinate and participate in close protection of company executives.
• As needed and/or required, assist in the coordination of security for company events.
• Serve as the focal point for the dissemination of information concerning activity which may affect the security and safety of the group or its employees.
• Establish and liaise with key industry and law enforcement contacts and organizations in the region.
• As required prepare risk assessments, investigation and situational update reports for senior management and executives in the region.
• Provide security guidance and/or assistance to company employees while on or about to embark on
• As needed and/or required assist the Global Security department with the implementation of Global Security policies in other regional locations.
• As needed and/or required assist the Global Security department and team leveraging expertise and experience in other regional locations.
• As needed and/or required, assist the Corporate Ethics & Compliance team in matters involving any possible violation of company policies including but not limited to conflicts of interest, fraud, and embezzlement.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and combined experience (10+ years) in positions relevant to the role. Experience can include roles in law enforcement, intelligence agencies, public service, military branch, security firms and/or multinational companies.
• Must have management experience, including managing employees, businesses, budgets and projects.
• Must have capacity to travel internationally and with short notice.
• Must have good communication and report writing skills.
• Must have suitable international experience having worked in various locations and capacities throughout the EMEA region.
• Experienced in security related disciplines including but not limited to; investigations, facility security, security technologies, business continuity, supply chain security and product/brand protection.
• Bilingual or ability to speak multiple languages preferred.
• Security, investigations and/or business continuity industry certification preferred i.e. CPP, PSP, CFE, BCM, CBCP or similar.
• This position is home based therefore candidate must have capacity and discipline to work remotely.
