The Senior Security Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing Crown Melbourne's security operation to deliver a safe, secure and welcoming environment, including an engaging customer service experience.

Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
• Lead, coach and develop direct reports in the development of a fully accountable customer focused work culture; through motivating employees towards delivering high standards of performance and continuous improvement
• Setting performance objectives for Security Services Managers to ensure key department and business objectives are achieved
• Writing formal reports to be distributed across the business and to various stakeholders
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Security Services products, systems and processes
• Provide a high level of leadership to a large, diverse Security management team, with a strong focus on risk, loss prevention and people management.

Requirements

To be Successful, you will need:

• Current and valid Victorian Security Licence with the activities of Crowd Controller and Unarmed Guard, or the ability to obtain
• A qualification in Security Risk Management, Leadership, Emergency Management or a similar discipline
• Demonstrated leadership in managing dynamic, operational work groups
• Extensive experience in operational Security, Investigations, Security Risk Management And Emergency Management
• Experience in Security and Risk assessment is essential
• Demonstrated ability in influencing and driving key stakeholders to ensure “best-practice” operations
• A focus on process improvement with the ability to look “outside the box” for practical solutions
• Exceptional communication and relationship building capability
• Exceptionally strong writing skills with proven experience in report writing
• Holder of or ability to obtain a Casino Special Employee Licence (Includes police check and credit check)
